What is AML Identification Using Bank ID?
AML identification is a process by which a bank verifies the identity of a client (and, if applicable, their representative) before establishing and during the course of a business relationship to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. Bank ID securely transfers these mandatory data directly from your bank to us in an encrypted format, strictly limited to the information required by law.
Important: The information remains strictly between the banks and is not shared with any third party.
Who Can Use Bank ID?
- Clients of all major Czech banks.
The full list is available at bankid.cz. - Both Czech citizens and foreigners, provided their bank has enabled Bank ID for them.
- Bank ID holders usually receive this service from their bank free of charge.
Fees
AML identification is provided by Bankovní identita, a.s., which charges a one-time fee of CZK 140 + VAT. This amount will be invoiced to you according to our price list. By paying this fee, you consent to the use of the service. No additional fees are charged by the bank.

- In-Person Visit to a Branch – We will verify your identity on-site.
- Notarized Verification – You can complete the identification with a notary and send us the relevant verification document.
